Silky Cinnamon Roll Oatmeal

Not a fan of traditional oatmeal?  Perfect, then this recipe is just for you!  Oats can typically be bland, blah and boring…unless you’ve come to know my little secrets in the kitchen.

Silky Cinnamon Roll Oatmeal

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  • Place all ingredients in a pot on the stove on medium heat and stir to incorporate thoroughly.  Do not place the lid on the pot.

  • Let the oat mixture slowly come to a gentle, bubbly boil and then turn the stove top temperature to low and cover with the lid for approximately 15-20 minutes.

  • Remove pot from stove top and remove lid; stir the oat mixture; let the oats set and cool for about 5-10 minutes.

  • Upon serving, dollop with your favorite toppers such as organic peanut butter, dark chocolate chips, unsweetened shredded coconut, jelly or jam, coconut oil, coconut sugar, pure maple syrup or fresh fruit.

    I can’t wait to try this on my splurge day…usually I am a strict Paleo but this looks to good to pass up!
