Homemade Health Boosting Lemonade

Well it seems summer is coming to a close very quickly around here and I am sure you’re feeling it too.  Keep the summer alive as long as you can with this refreshing homemade lemonade.

As the kids return to school this is a great, refreshing treat for them to re-hydrate after being in school all day and probably not getting enough fluids to support their needs.

This version is made with raw honey unlike most commercial lemonades which use refined sugar as their sweetener.  You can feel good about the immune system benefits of fresh lemons and raw honey built into the daily fluid intake of your loved ones.  This is also an effective way to transition your kids off soda because they still feel like they are getting something that is special and sweet.
