Cucumber Lemon Smoothie Juice

cucumber lemon smoothie juiceHip hip hooray!  An easy and delicious way to consume your greens and veggies!  This is a refreshing, delightful “juice” which tastes great and packs a big nutrition punch into your body.

We suggest drinking smoothie juice on an empty stomach and then waiting 20-30 minutes before eating anything.  This gives the juice an opportunity to flood the cells and start the cleansing and rejuvenation processes.  We usually have something like this as we’re preparing dinner.

Another great bonus is that it actually curbs your appetite to a reasonable level and thereby you eat less (and still feel great) and weight loss can ensue (if that’s a goal of yours).

What I love about smoothie juicing is that you don’t need a juicer (who needs another appliance in their kitchen?) and it is super fast to make.  No excuses!  Bam!

My goal is to incorporate a drink like this into my daily routine. If I had this first thing in the morning, what kind of food would you eat mid-morning to avoid hunger pains? I don’t think this would hold me over until lunch.

Looks like this would be a good way to start my day. Could I use a lemon instead of lime? I don’t really like lemon-flavor. Thanks!

Hi Sarah, you can use a lime (it’s funny you ask because I ran out of lemons last weekend and used a lime) —> however, I prefer the lemon over the lime in this particular smoothie juice. Go ahead and give it a try and let us know what you think!

Once I get going on the fruity smoothies I will try a green one like this one. That picture is really pretty and makes me less scared of green colored drinks.

Hi Gina, I get the “fear of green” a lot from friends, family and clients. But……once you get past that mind barrier and focus on the taste you will be amazed and addicted to these smoothies. Promise.

Does this taste really green? I like more fruit based smoothies.

Hi Joanna, no it doesn’t taste absurdly green. The lemon really mellows the greens out. Give it a try and pour over a glass of ice. Delish!

I’m wondering if this would be good for repairing my adrenals. Thanks.
